The company maintains its drilling operations through its diverse rig packages comprising of both In-house and Chartered hired advanced rigs of varied capacities as per operational requirement. With state-of-the-art technology adoption such as VFD systems, Top Drive facilities etc along with optimization and dedicated maintenance of its old fleets and incorporation of the next generation fleet of rig services, drilling operations exemplify a dedication to excellence, reliability and sustainability in the oil and gas industry.
Zero Waste Initiatives
The Department is aggressively working towards a zero effluent policy aiming towards elimination of drilling discharge of wastewater or pollutants into the environment. Through advanced waste management practices and technology such as “Bhubanmitra- Pitless Drilling”, the department prioritize its commitment towards environmental protection and resource conservation for its drilling activities.
Offshore Operations
With a successful completion of its earlier offshore ventures as an operator, OIL is gearing up for its next offshore mission in the deep waters of Andaman to the shallow water depths of KG-DSF through leveraging cutting-age technology and skilled personnel to unlock new horizons in offshore oil and gas exploration.
OIL’s eRTMAC
OIL’s Real time data monitoring and analysis centre is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies to monitor the various drilling operations in real time with advanced visualization platform and cutting-edge sensor technology. It includes transmission of real time critical well data to the command centre.
The Centre is monitored round the clock by Skilled Engineers who analyse the data to make real time decisions and ensure the safety & efficiency of drilling operations.
Advanced RSS with LWD:
The majority of the wells drilled by OIL are highly deviated in nature. The Company is aggressively incorporating cutting edge technologies for enhancing drilling efficiency and performance.
With the incorporation of sophisticated tools such as RSS (Rotary Steerable System) along with Advanced LWD, the drilling efficacies have increased manifold due to precise Steering control, enhanced drilling speed, reduced well tortuosity and accurate well placement along with real- time data acquisition and evaluation.
Digital Well Planning
The Company is aggressively adopting the digital platform for critical well planning and designing with integration and utilization of digital technologies and data analytics. This is being done to enhance automation, well planning optimization and cost estimation through incorporation of industry’s best drilling software solutions.
