OIL INDIA LIMITED invites sealed tenders from experienced Contractors / Firms for the following services :

  14.06.2005 Laying / replacement of 200 Kms. of 100 mm O.D. welded flow lines for drilling wells, workover wells, water injection lines, formation water disposal lines and gas artery lines in and around OIL's operational area.
 

Bid Documents (non-transferable) can be obtained from the office of Chief Manager (Contracts), Oil India Limited, P.O. Duliajan, Assam-786602 from 24.05.2005 to 13.06.2005 on application alongwith Tender Fee (non-refundable) amounting to Rs.500/- only for each tender through a Crossed Demand Draft / Banker's cheque in favour of 'Oil India Limited' payable at Duliajan. Applicants can also deposit the tender fee directly in UBI/UCO Bank/SBI/Allahabad Bank Canara Bank of Duliajan Branch and proof of such deposit must be furnished along with the applications for tender documents.

2.0 Salient Eligibility Criteria for Tender No. CCO/OGPL/9861/2005

  1. The bidders should have average Annual financial turnover during the last 3(three) years, ending 31st March, 2004 at least Rs. 34.00 lakhs (Rupees Thirtyfour lakhs only)
  2. The bidders shall have experience of successfully completing similar job(s) of following magnitude in the last 7(seven) years ending 31.03.2005 with PSUs / Central /State Govt. Organizations.
    1. 3(three) contracts of minimum value Rs.45.00 lakhs each OR
    2. 2(two) contracts of minimum value Rs.56.00 lakhs each OR
    3. 1(one) contract of minimum value Rs.90 lakhs
  3. Similar work means the following nature of job :
    Construction of welded, piggable, coated & wrapped, cross-country oil/gas transmission pipe lines of minimum 100 mm diameter as per ANSI B 31.4/31.8 specifications along with all associated jobs as per applicable and relevant codes / standards including boring of national Highways/Railway lines/PWD Roads.
  4. The bidders should be capable of mobilizing & deploying the following requisite tools / equipment at short notice.
    1. 8(Eight) Nos. of Welding Generators as per IS:2635 with the following specifications :
      Welding current range : 60 - 400 Amps.
      Maximum hand welding current at 60% duty cycle : 400 amps
      Dia of coated electrode : 2 to 6.3 mm
      Coupled with suitable engine as per IS : 10002/81 having auxiliary power source for 220 / 230 V and 10 Amps.
    2. 4(Four) Nos. High capacity pipe carrying trailers.
    3. 4(Four) Nos. AC Generators equivalent to IS:4722
      : 10 KVA, 240 Volts, 50 Hz, 40 Amps.
    4. 8(Eight) Nos. Grinding machines : High speed angle grinder equivalent to AG-7, 235 V, 2200 watts.
    5. Necessary tools & accessories for coating & wrapping of pipeline.
    6. Boring Machine with accessories for boring of National high way, Railway lines and PWD roads.
    7. Necessary equipment for constructing Pipe Trestles across rivers, streams and swampy areas.
    8. 4(Four) Nos. of Bevelling Machines to make the pipe ends true as per dimensions specified in API 1104 standard.
    9. 4(Four) sets of High discharge and high pressure pumps complete with feed pumps for hydro testing of the pipe lines. The pressure and Discharge rate shall not be less than 180 kg/cm2 and 80 ltrs/min. respectively.
    10. Minimum 12(Twelve) sets of Chain Pulley Blocks of 3-5 Tons capacity with Tripods.
  5. The bidder must either have or give an undertaking to engage minimum 10(Ten) Nos. of skilled welders with valid certificate capable of performing radiographic quality welding as per API 1104 / ANSI B 31.4 / 31.8
  6. Bidder must process P.F. Code.
