The Vigilance department in Oil India Limited with its Headquarter in NOIDA has a Chief Vigilance Officer Shri V.K. Thakral at the helm. The Vigilance Teams are headed by Head – Vigilance at the Corporate level, and Head – Vigilance at the Field Headquarters, while Vigilance officers are also placed at the offices of the Company at Guwahati, Kolkata & Jodhpur.
CVO advises the Company Management on various measures to be adopted to improve the functioning of the Company on the basis of the gaps noticed in the Company’s systems and procedures during Vigilance Investigations. CVO also acts as the interface between the Ministry, PMO,CBI, CVC and other agencies.
